New Executive Reporting Tool Provides a Comprehensive, High-Level View of Clinical Outcomes Metrics
MILWAUKEE, SEPTEMBER 19, 2011 – VCPI, in conjunction with PointRight Inc., announces the launch of the Decision Point™ Outcomes Dashboard for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). VCPI announced enhancements to Decision Point for assisted living facilities in early 2011, and is now preparing to release additional functionality for SNFs in Q4 2011. This new product, which is powered by PointRight’s leading data analytics, adds important functionality for SNF providers in the area of clinical outcomes, as health care reform make measuring, monitoring and reporting these outcomes more important than ever.
The Decision Point Outcomes Dashboard provides a comprehensive, high-level view of critical outcomes metrics that matter to SNFs and their healthcare partners. This includes: quality measures in the key areas of falls, urinary tract infections, medication errors and pressure ulcers; resident satisfaction measures; and hospital re-admission rates. The metrics show rates, incidence, comparisons and trends over time to help providers connect quality with value.

This means that SNFs can show their value to partners but also plan effective organizational strategy within the context of reform.
The product will be commercially available in Q4 2011.
