Joe Riesberg presented: Is Your Network Ready for EHR; Exploring the Future of LTC Technology at the 2009 Indiana Long Term Care Convention & Expo, May 15, 2009
The conference took place in Indianapolis, IN from May 5th – 7th with the theme of “Uniting the commitment with partners across the continuum of long term care”. His presentation helped attendees find cost-saving ways to use network technology that also increases their revenue because they are desirable to their residents—such as a local internet service and Voice over IP phone systems. He explored new and existing technologies and services that accommodate tech-savvy residents and their families that want a community that’s technologically up-to-date and meets their needs. Riesberg warned, “Prepare now for the healthcare technology of the future so you don’t need to scramble to implement new technology overnight.” This same presentation was very well received at the Aging Services of Minnesota 2009 Institute, which was attended by nearly 4,000 people over the course of three days, working to renew their commitment to leading change and changing lives. The 2009 Institute took place in Minneapolis, MN from February 11th -13th.
