Situation:
Encore Healthcare, LLC is a full-service healthcare management company that provides management services to facilities in the skilled nursing, assisted living and long term acute care hospital industries, with 35 facilities across the United States. Encore approached VCPI when researching companies that could provide centralized technology solutions as opposed to their existing facility by facility approach.  

The VCPI Solution:
VCPI centralized their technology with a scalable environment that controlled the costs of expansion, allowing for ease of access to data and applications per facility and aggregate data for their corporate offices. VCPI’s services evolved to include converting broadband circuits to MLPS networks, which have more bandwidth — thus the power to provide better quality care — and even renegotiating their telecom contract. VCPI also set up and hosted the software for Encore’s transition schools for physically and mentally challenged young adults, which enabled the company to grow with fixed, predictable costs. Currently VCPI is leading the charge in the implementation of e-health records, strategizing with Encore before the mandatory change is enforced. VCPI has become much more than a host; they have become a trusted business partner.
